Sky Ferreira's debut album delayed until 2014
Good news and bad news: alt-pop starlet Sky Ferreira has finally given her long-awaited debut album a name. But it’s also now been pushed back to next year too.
After initially emerging in 2009, Ferreira has experienced bumpy ride in the music industry so far, despite only recently turning 21. Last year’s Ghost EP and breakthrough hit ‘Everything is Embarrassing’, however, seemed to pave the way to exciting things upcoming.
Now, despite having finished the record back in April, she has now revealed to GQ Magazine that her debut I Will has been delayed to 2014, with a new EP coming in September instead.
Ferriera has been working with the likes of Ariel Rechtshaid (Diplo, Charli XCX) and Jon Brion (Best Coast, Fiona Apple) on the full-length release.
