Sky Ferreira finishes recording debut album
While still only 20 years of age, Sky Ferriera has certainly had a rocky career to date. Originally signed to Parlophone back in 2009, the alt-pop singer was subsequently dropped by her label before getting back on the straight and narrow with last year’s stand-out single ‘Everything Is Embarrassing’. Now, after a series of EPs, Ferriera has confirmed she’s finished her debut full-length.
The LA musician made the announcement via Instagram last night, posting the following photo on the social network site:
Ferriera has also confirmed that she’s been working with the likes of Ariel Rechtshaid (Diplo, Charli XCX) and Jon Brion (Best Coast, Fiona Apple) on the not-yet-titled release.
