Skepta shares new track with 67's LD, "Neighbourhood Watch"
"Neighbourhood Watch" is the first single from Skepta after his Dizzee Rascal collaboration "Money Right", that Wiley wasn't too happy about.
Skepta recruits the masked LD from rap collective 67, who have previously been linked with UK drill music and it's connotations of violence. Speaking to Evening Standard last year, LD explained, “We rap about violence because we’re from a violent background. Life’s changed now. We’re leaving that world and taking people with us.”
This year alone 67 have released three projects. Their album The 6, a collaborative project weith R6 & S.T. Search & Destroy, and their most recent collab with Dimzy Dim the Lights.
LD has even released his own album The Masked One earlier this year, featuring Dizzee Rascal, Tiggs Da Author, K-Trap and more.
Skepta has also been working on new material, having dropped his "Pure Water" video yesterday (1 November).
