Nirvana and Sir Paul McCartney have streamed the studio recording of their recent collaborative track.
‘Cut Me Some Slack’ was performed at last week’s ’12.12.12′ benefit concert, a gig in support of those affected by Hurricane Sandy, with the former Beatles member taking the place of the late Kurt Cobain.
It was the first time the surviving members of the grunge band, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, played together in twenty years.
Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, however, was unimpressed.
“There it was,” Love wrote on Facebook, “Uh it was bad.”
