Simon Cowell is set to wade (sadly not literally) through the cesspool that is Youtube to try and find his next star.
MusicWeek are reporting that the X-Factor creator will launch a new online talent show this year called ‘The You Generation’.
The project will attempt to uncover “unconventional and original talents”, with hopefuls uploading entries to the website. They’ll then be judged by Cowell’s record label, Syco.
Youtube is, after all, the place that gave birth to Justin Bieber and, err, Tay Zonday.
The contest will run for a whole year across 26 different countries.
