SHOR fuses ethereal melodies and velvety vocals on summer offering "Sirens"
London writer/producer SHOR finds confidence in harmonious release "Sirens".
The soothing, fragmented beat propels SHOR's warped vocals while building towards a euphoric chorus that shimmers brighter than London's light pollution.
Contradicted by the dreamy, calm beat, SHOR states that he's "Not gonna suffer in silence / I won't be troubled by the sirens", as he finds confidence amongst the darkness of the city.
Speaking on his new track "Sirens", SHOR explains, "It’s about being sure about what you want to do and feeling full of potential and how exciting that feeling is. But it’s also about how frustrating it is to feel like things aren’t happening fast enough. And how scary it is to commit to something that has no guarantee of even mild success. Eventually, you realise that you aren’t wasting your time, you can’t be impatient and it doesn’t matter that you’re working a shit job and have no money, because you’re doing something you really love.”
Sparkling bright, SHOR's breezy sound on 'Sirens" is just a glimpse into the bright world that SHOR is still yet to reveal to us.
