SHHH Festival early bird tickets on sale now
Early bird tickets are on sale now for champions of calm SHHH - an all-dayer dedicated to careful listening.
The 2016 edition of SHHH returns to Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead on 30 April, with Gwilym Gold, Collectress, Nadine Khouri, Viking Moses, Sam Goodwill, and loads more tranquillity on the bill.
The celebration of quietness has been going for a fair old decade, and while certain things have changed, the central idea of Listening has been kept intact.
Organiser Howard Monk (of The Local) says:
"It's a cracking day which I look forward to each year. We've got an excellent lineup this year I think perfectly blending trad folk with new weird electronics, with neo classical experimentalism, and leftfield neo-soul too. All are blessed with incredible songwriting and composing talents which demand to be heard."
"We're adding a couple of interesting talks this year, a reading space and even some (quiet) activities for kids during the afternoon. It's a rare day out!"
"Quiet music, like silence, is golden."
Roll up and settle in for one of the most unique festivals in the country - SHHH.
