Shearwater cover Frank Ocean track “Novacane”

Sub Pop folk-rockers Shearwater recently teamed up with labelmates Low for a special Record Store Day Black Friday split release where they each covered a track by a modern pop act.

Low have already streamed their take on Rihanna’s “Stay” and now the Texan group have uploaded this lo-fi rendition of Frank Ocean’s “Novacane”, stripping the original back and adding some darker atmospherics.
