Sharon Van Etten has unveiled a new track titled "Just Like Blood" from upcoming EP I Don't Want To Let You Down.
A shimmering piece of psych balladry, the track uses thick textures and '60s theramin-style synths to create a swampy, otherworldly vibe.
The I Don't Want To Let You Down EP is out 8 June via Jagjaguwar. You can pre-order it in a variety of formats here. It follows last year's Are We There.
Van Etten and Sterwart Lerman (Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent) produced the release, which also features appearances from The War On Drugs.
Check out the track now on NPR.
