Sharon Van Etten has a guest role on Netflix's new mysterious drama series The OA.
Van Etten has confirmed that she is indeed in the show - she plays Rachel in five episodes of the eight-episode series.
Other musical figures involved the show include Riz Ahmed (aka Riz MC, who's in Swet Shop Boys with Heems and that new Star Wars spin-off) and Rostam Batmanglij. Ahmed also guest stars in the show, while Batmanglij has worked on the score/soundtrack - Batmanglij is the younger brother of The OA's director and co-creator Zal Batmanglij.
The rumors are true.
