New Sheffield festival Get Together has announced the first names playing next year's event, including Self Esteem, The Murder Capital and more.

The inaugural event is set to take place at Sheffield University Students’ Union in May 2021, and will include a variety of live music, food stalls, and the annual beer and cider festival.

Self Esteem and The Murder Capital are set to headline the two-day festival next year, which will also include performances from Tim Burgess, Working Men's Club, The Orielles, Pillow Queens, Ibibio Sound Machine, Happyness, Martha Hill, Walt Disco and more. New acts will be announced in the coming months.

According to NME, organisers say they're "looking forward to a time when music fans are once again able to share the joy of being in the same space and sharing the excitement of live music".

Get Together takes place at Sheffield University Students’ Union from 1-2 May 2021. Tickets go on sale at 10am BST on Friday (2 October). Find out more.
