Sea Change announces first names for 2019
Devon's Sea Change Festival has revealed the first cluster of acts, including Metronomy, Gazelle Twin, and more.
As well as Metronomy and Gazelle Twin, the fourth edition of Sea Change will welcome The Comet is Coming, Will Burns and Hannah Peel, TVAM, Pip Blom, You Tell Me, The Nightingales, and Sandra Kerr and John Faulkner who will perform the music of Bagpuss.
The festival, founded by esteemed local Totnes record store Drift Records, takes over some of the town's best and most unusual venues. Instead of normally hosting the event on the August bank holiday weekend, Sea Change has moved it to the late May bank holiday for the first time this year.
The festival will also stretch over three days for the first time, and will include a mix of panel talks, film screenings, and events in some of Totnes's most historical venues.
