Scottish Album of the Year Award announces 2013 shortlist
The Scottish Album of the Year Award (SAY Award) have announced their final shortlist for this year’s accolade.
The ceremony, akin to the Mercury Prize, returns for its second year, with organisers revealing a newly-trimmed shortlist today that contains the likes of Django Django, Meursault, public vote winners The Twilight Sad, and more. Twilight Sad had topped an online poll to choose the tenth artist to go through to the shortlist stage.
The eventual winner will be unveiled at ceremony in Barrowlands on 20 June, receiving a £20,000 cash prize. The shortlist in full is as below:
