SBTRKT production not used for Drake album, may release mixtape
Having been recruited to “edit” one of Drake’s many pre-album standalone singles, ‘Girls Love Beyonce’, it was widely regarded that SBTRKT would feature on the LP proper. This, the London producer has revealed, turned out to not be the case.
The electronic musician took to Twitter to write: “most of you worked it out but I’m not on @drake album”, continuing: “My productions didnt make album.”
Despite his long-time collaborator Sampha making the cut on Nothing Was The Same instead, appearing on ‘Too Much’, Jerome does not seem too upset, however, instead stating that he “might do a mixtape” of the productions instead.
