SBTRKT, James Blake, Breach announced as new Radio 1 Resident DJs
SBTRKT, James Blake and Breach have been confirmed as the latest name to take up a residency at BBC Radio 1.
They will be joining the likes of Hannah Wants, Skream, Kaytranada, Heidi and George FitzGerald.
Blake will be returning after leaving the station at the end of 2014.
Speaking about the residency, SBTRKT said:
"BBC Radio 1 has been a large part in my journey making and playing music - from listening to new music on Westwood and Pete Tong when growing up to finding new music through Gilles Peterson & Benji B, Mary Anne Hobbs, the Essential Mixes, the Maida Vale sessions and all the DJs who have supported my music and performances to this day! It will be a great honour to get to play some inspiring music on the Residency show!"

1st Thursday of the month
10pm: Skream
12am: Hannah Wants
2nd Thursday of the month
10pm: James Blake
12am: Kaytranada
3rd Thursday of the month
10pm: George FitzGerald
12am: SBTRKT
4th Thursday of the month
10pm: Heidi
12am: Breach
