There was great sorrow when we learned that London’s most loony of ladies, The Duloks, had decided to call it a day. These PE-kit clad unicorns-of-pop have been deftly blending Electro, Rock, Indie & Comedy (ERIC for short) for several years and their EP’s (although infrequent) always contained more killer tunes than many bands struggle to muster in their careers.
But it’s their crazy live shows that have generated the most interest. Whether it’s Mar’s beats, Mira’s audience interaction or trying to find where Abi has left her phone; you are guaranteed an evening you won’t forget. So to accompany the final lowering of their curtain of insanity they are putting on a FREE farewell gig on the 14th of August at The 2nd Floor Cafe and Venue (entrance on Bocking Street – Netil House, 1-7 Westgate Street, London – all the details are on their Facebook page).
If you’ve never seen them before you might just uncover you new favourite band, just in time for them to split up. But at least you can tell your grandchildren you were there.
