Santigold to appear in an episode of 'The Office' this week

It’s been revealed that Santigold will feature in this week’s episode of the U.S adaptation of The Office. We know what you’re thinking, indie-leaning artists are starting to appear on our TV screens more and more frequently, soundtracking our favourite programmes, but this is a bit different as the musician will make a cameo as an American Idol-esque hopeful.

Thursday’s episode will see the cast host a ‘Next Great A Cappella Sensation’ competition, with Santigold among those rocking up for an audition. Pitchfork also suggest that American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers will also appear.
