Sampa The Great unites with Denzel Curry on new single "Lane"
Sampa The Great has delivered new single "Lane", which sees the Zambian-born and Botswana-raised artist join forces with Denzel Curry.
"Lane" follows Sampa The Great's appearance on Mwanjé's "Wildones" in February, and lands with a six-minute video directed by Rochelle Rhembard and Imraan Christian.
Sampa The Great says of the new song, which features Denzel Curry, "We’re not going to stay in one lane, we’re going to create multiple ones... My truest self encourages me to explore different lanes, and go beyond what I think I know of myself."
Sampa The Great is yet to follow up her 2019 debut album The Return.
Last year Sampa The Great worked with MOONGA K., B Wise and Milan Ring, KYE, Angelique Kidjo and the late Tony Allen.
