Sacred Paws have won this year's Scottish Album Of The Year Award

This year's SAY Award (Scottish Album Of The Year) has gone to Sacred Paws for their fantastic record Strike A Match.

The award and its accompanying £20,000 prize were bestowed upon the duo - Rachel Aggs (Shopping, Trash Kit) and Eilidh Rogers - at a ceremony in Paisley last night.

Sacred Paws saw of competition from Honeyblood, C Duncan, Pictish Trail, and labelmates Mogwai. Each runner up was also awarded a £1000 prize.

Last year's SAY Award was won by composer Anna Meredith for her LP Varmints.
