Ryley Walker announces new album with lead single "Rang Dizzy"
Ryley Walker is back with news of his upcoming album Course In Fable, which is engineered by Tortoise's John McEntire, and has shared "Rang Dizzy" as the lead outing.
"Rang Dizzy" is the first track to be shared from Course In Fable, and follows last week's Deep Fried Grandeur live set collaboration with Kikagaku Moyo.
Course In Fable features seven tracks, and includes guitar and piano contributions from Bill MacKay, bass and piano from Andrew Scott Young, Ryan Jewell on drums/percussion, Tortoise's John McEntire on synth/keys/vibraphone (as well as engineering and mixing the album), cello from Nancy Ives and string arrangements/cello from Douglas Jenkins.
Walker's new album will be his first studio LP as the lead artist since 2018's Deafman Glance. In 2019 he reunited with Charles Rumback for their Little Common Twist album.
