Ryan Adams' take on Taylor Swift's 1989 is out Monday, Zane Lowe plays the first cut
Ryan Adams' 1989 covers album is coming out on Monday 21 September.
Zane Lowe will premiere the Adams version of "Bad Blood" on Beats 1 radio. (UPDATE: he played it already, and you can hear it now)
Early last month Adams dropped the news, provoking ecstatic replies from the Swift camp, but many were in two minds about whether it'd actually ever appear. Well, those naysayers have been put to rest now, with Adams giving a release date, a lead single, and artwork. Unless he's a total troll, and pulls it all at the last second, that is.
Adams has been keeping fans well and truly in the loop the entire time, and you can hear snippets of his versions on Twitter now.
