Rozi Plain unveils new EP recorded on the Isle of Eigg
Rozi Plain has shared a new EP recorded on the Scottish Isle of Eigg as part of Lost Map's Visitations series.
Visitations is a residency-style series where artists are invited to spend a week on the Scottish Inner Hebrides Isle to experiment and record music. Lost Map provides recording equipment and instruments for the week-long stay.
Lost Map's Visitations project is now in its second series, and so far they've released EP's from Arthur King and Rachel Aggs of Sacred Paws and SHOPPING.
Rozi Plain is the third artist to take part in the Visitations second series. As Clash notes, Rozi Plain recorded the EP with frequent collaborators Gerard Black (Babe) and Jamie Whitby-Coles (This Is The Kit).
The Visitations site notes that for the new series, "we have upsized to the spacious confines of St Franny’s Bothan, allowing room for collaboration as well as solo-ventures."
