Röyksopp drop first Press R teaser ahead of New Year's Day release

Röyksopp have shared the "first clue" for something arriving on New Year's Day titled Press R, and fans are hoping it's new music.

Earlier this week Röyksopp launched their official Instagram account and the bio teased that a first clue would be arriving in the "next 48 hours".

Yesterday (30 December) the firts clue arrived, and it's a snippet of a video that fans hope is related to new music. In the caption, Röyksopp wrote that "Press R" will be arriving tomorrow (1 January 2022) at 5pm GMT.

While many fans' comments were welcoming back the duo and expressing their excitement, another fan wrote, "is this new music I’m gonna overstimulate."

The duo are yet to follow up their 2014's The Inevitable End.
