Rough Trade West set Record Store Day sales record
Rough Trade West sold more records on Record Store Day last Saturday than any other shop per square foot.
The London independent outlet made the announcement earlier today via Twitter, writing “The mighty @RoughTrade West team, Nige, Chris, Cordelia and Sean, absolutely smashed it this #RSD, setting a sales record £/sqft”. Continuing: “Overall, @RoughTrade stores are healthier than ever, credit to everyone involved, including our amazing customers, new and old. THANK YOU!”
Rough Trade yesterday revealed that they will begin offering customers free digital downloads with every physical purchase made at their London stores. The company also announced recently a 25% growth in sales during the first quarter of 2013.
