Ronnie Wood, Chad Smith, Elton John and many more have paid tribute to Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who died aged 80 yesterday (24 August).
Yesterday (24 August) afternoon Charlie Watts, who joined The Rolling Stones in 1963, died aged 80.
The news was confirmed by his publicist in a statement, which revealed he "passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family."
Following the announcement of his passing, the music world has been paying tribute to the legendary drummer, including his bandmates Ronnie Wood, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.
