Yes, it's true, the lord mayor of sparkles, Robert Pattison, plays guitar on Death Grips' LP Government Plates.
Details have surfaced about his inclusion, after Government Plates' physical release on Record Store Day's Black Friday, with the album's liner notes stating that Pattinson shreds on "Birds", which we were impressed with in our initial review:
“Birds” an initially melodic guitar sample shifts further out of tune with every repetition. It’s nausea-inducing – but, after a few listens, really quite good."
Sadly, Death Grips have now splintered, so more Pattinson x Death Grips collabs are exceedingly unlikely.
