Rihanna makes Palestine comment at Tel Aviv gig
Having been thrown out of an Abu Dhabi mosque recently, Rihanna continued to shake things up in the Middle East earlier this week when she made an ambiguous remark during a show in Tel Aviv.
The pop singer played in Israel on Tuesday night (22 October), reportedly two hours late for her set. Later, during her song “Pour It Up”, Rihanna even changed the track’s lyrics from “All I see is dollar signs” to “All I see is Palestine”.
Local paper Haaretz note that the strange comment didn’t seem to register much with the audience, whilst also stating that Rihanna repeatedly shouted out to Tel Aviv but never Israel.
Rihanna is currently in the middle of her Diamonds World Tour.
