Rhodes announces debut album Wishes, unveils lead cut "Close Your Eyes"
Singer/pianist Rhodes has announced his long-awaited debut album Wishes, and shared its lead single "Close Your Eyes".
The LP arrives after a run of lauded singles and EPs.
"Close Your Eyes" is a soaring, emotional track, which Rhodes says it's "about my fear of performing... I wanted to make this a little more ambiguous so I changed it to the third person and made it more about me talking to somebody else-when really it's me talking to myself."
Wishes is out 4 September on Rhodes Music/Ministry of Sound. Longtime collaborator James Kenosha has produced it (along with Drake producer Nineteen85).
