Rejjie Snow shares Kaytranada-produced Rae Morris collab "Blakkst Skn"
Dublin-born rapper Rejjie Snow has unleashed "Blakkst Skn", his latest single, produced by Kaytranada and featuring Rae Morris.
Though born in Ireland, Alex Anyaegbunam (aka Rejjie Snow) is now based in Georgia, U.S.A. (on a football scholarship). He dropped his debut EP, Rejovich, at the age of 17, and has supported stars such as Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, and MF Doom.
Big things are expected from the prodigous Snow - "Blakkst Skn" lives up to those expectations. It's a hazey, avant-garde take on modern hip-hop, with slinky basslines and crunchy drums in the background. Snow's voice is elastic in the track, whipping around words and between the striking voice of Morris, who injects a mysterious pop feel into the mix.
Hometown will release the track on 13 November, ahead of Snow's support slot with Action Bronson.
