After confirming the original 2021 RSD date of 12 June in December last year, organisers have today (4 March) added a second drop date for Record Store Day on 17 July.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, last year's Record Store Day was split across three drop dates in August, September and October, with different exclusive titles allocated to each of the drop dates.

In December last year UK vinyl sales reached the highest peak since the early ‘90s, with approximately 4.8 million vinyl albums sold in the UK throughout 2020.

Record Store Day 2021 will take place on 12 June and 17 July. Visit recordstoreday.co.uk for more information.
