Ray BLK's social and political stigma projected through her music is certainly sought-after having been crowned BBC's Sound of 2017.
Since then she's gone on to collaborate with the likes of Gorillaz, RAYE and Kojo Funds.
Empress will follow on from Ray BLK's 2016 Durt EP.
Empress arrives on 26 Octover via Island Records. Ray BLK's London O2 Forum Kentish Town show has been rescheduled to 28 March 2019. Find out more.
