Rapper Meek Mill ordered by judge to take etiquette classes
As well as recording a new album and playing shows, Philly rapper Meek Mill will also be running off to court-ordered etiquette classes as part of a new sentence.
Mill, real name Robert Williams, has been on probation since 2009 when he did time in jail for drug dealing and gun possession. After some of Williams’ heated statements on Twitter and other social media resulted in fans threatening the probation officer involved in his case, Judge Genece Brinkley ordered Meek Mill to take etiquette classes to “refine his use of social media” at his probation violation hearing.
Millz has until 4 August to complete the classes, which should be televised for the world’s viewing pleasure but unfortunately will not be.
