RapGenius named “Most Innovative Company” in 2013, annotate the King James Bible
Lyric annotation website, RapGenius have been named the “Most Innovative Company” in music in Fast Company‘s 2013 list of forward-thinking companies.
The site, which allows bloggers to post specific meanings to specific lines of songs, beat Spotify to the top spot (who came runner-up in second place).
Somewhat more bizarrely, RapGenius have also announced that they are beginning to annotate the whole of the 1611 King James Bible.
The hip-hop website posted the following message in a blog post about the project:

??? BC: Great Flood
??? BC: Great Flood ends. God: “You know it’s all about the love, I don’t know why I’m being this aggressive”
