Radio 1 to get own video channel on BBC iPlayer

BBC Radio 1 have announced they’ll launch their very own video channel, airing via BBC iPlayer.
Confirmed today, the video channel will be accessible via TV on-demand services, plus laptops, smartphones and tablets. Content will include pre-recorded performances, interviews and more, plus live-streaming events such as the channel’s annual Big Weekend festival.
A launch date has not yet been confirmed.
