R Kelly performs with Phoenix at Coachella festival

Coachella festival is known for its jam-packed line-ups, which tend to result in bizarre collaborations – and few get more unexpected than this, R Kelly and Phoenix teaming up over the weekend.

The French alt-rockers followed an acapella of ‘Bump N Grind’ by playing their track ’1901′, before R Kelly joined them for a rendition of ‘Ignition’. This morphed into a mash-up of Bankrupt! track ‘Chloroform’ and Kelly’s ‘I’m a Flirt’ before finishing with an encore of ‘Ignition’.
