Pusha T delays new album because of “politics and logistics”
-
Pusha T’s long-awaited solo debut, My Name is My Name has been pushed back another month.
The record was originally due out on 16 July, but Pusha has revealed on Charlotte radio station Power 98 that it’s been delayed, with the rapper blaming “politics and logistics”.
That said, G.O.O.D Music producer Hudson Mohawke seems to have another reasoning: revealing on Twitter recently that the pair were still at work on the release.
Pusha T added: “My album is the best album of the year… I think the streets are going to have a classic hip-hop album. My Name is My Name is definitely the hardest album that’s going to come out this year for sure.”
‘My Name is My Name’ will feature production from Kanye West, Pharrell, The-Dream and Swizz Beatz, along with guest appearances by Kendrick Lamar, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Future.
