Public Enemy link with DJ Premier for anti-Trump track "State Of The Union (STFU)"
Hip-hop legends Public Enemy are back with their new anti-Trump single "State Of The Union (STFU)", which features DJ Premier.
The new Public Enemy song lands on Juneteenth, and sees the rappers call out Trump and his administration.
"State Of The Union (STFU)" opens with the lyrics, "Whatever it takes rid of this dictator / POTUS my tail ass debator", and includes an anthemic chorus, "State of the Union / Shut the fuck up / Sorry ass motherfucker / Stay away from me."
Chuck D says, "Our collective voices keep getting louder. The rest of the planet is on our side. But it’s not enough to talk about change. You have to show up and demand change. Folks gotta vote like their lives depend on it, ‘cause it does."
Flavor Flav adds, "Public Enemy tells it like it is. It’s time for him to GO."
