Prince Rama's Taraka Larson biten by raccoons in New York park, creates news frenzy
Brooklyn avant-garders Prince Rama might end up with a few more Facebook likes today, having recently been brought to the attention of the mass populous following singer Taraka Larson’s run-on with a pair of wild raccoons earlier this week.
The story, which has since created somewhat of a media sensation, began when Larson was strolling through the city’s Central Park, stumbling upon two raccoons before stopping to take a picture.
After uploading the photo to Instagram, however, the raccoons (clearly not big fans of selfies) attacked the musician, who later uploaded a photo of herself on Facebook in the hospital getting a series of shots in case the animals turned out to be rabid.
The incident, golden for all newscasters alike, made its way to the Daily Mail before being covered by ABC News, among other news sources.
