Primavera Sound 2022 will reportedly take place over two weekends
Sources have claimed that next year's Primavera Sound festival will be changing to a double weekend format.
After organisers cancelled this year's Primavera Sound festival last month, two sources have told Reuters that the 2022 event is due to take place over two weekends.
The report claims that the 2022 edition of the Barcelona festival will take place from 2-5 and 9-12 of June, and is set to host "around 400 shows across two lineups".
One source also reportedly said organisers haven't made a decision whether to keep the double weekend format after 2022.
Festival organisers are yet to officially announnce details for next year's festival.
Last month's 2021 festival postponement revealed that ticket refunds for the 2021 will be available from 2 June, the same day the 2022 Primavera Sound line-up will be revealed.
