Psych-poppers MGMT took a career left-turn with their second album, 2010′s Congratulations, and now its upcoming self-titled follow-up seems to be continuing their strive for utmost creative freedom. At least if this new teaser clip for it is anything to go by.
The 6-minute strong trailer sees frontman Andrew VanWyngarden being followed by the NSA as a series of rather strange events unfold, including an encounter with a killer possum and a band practice interrupted by a deadly scorpion. Each scene of the video showcases a different track from the LP.
