Pinkunoizu are very aptly named. It’s a Japanese word, meaning ‘pink noise’ and, in fact, it describes the Full Time Hobby group pretty well.
‘Everything Is Broken Or Stolen’ comes in somewhere between a modern take on Highlife and a strange, mantra-like religious recording. Based around a single loop, the track inserts itself firmly into the space directly behind your eyes, gradually burrowing deeper and deeper, without you realising it. In fact, the fuzzy German radio breakdown is the only thing likely to jolt you from this odd reverie.
‘Everything Is Broken Or Stolen’ is taken from the PEEP EP, out 7 November on Full Time Hobby.
