Following the release of their unofficial video directed by Shaun Dingwall a week or so back, the London duo behind Paper Crows, Duncan McDougall and Emma Panas, have revealed ‘Fingertips’ official music video.
With a short film slotted in at the beginning, director Luca De Salvia’s effort it is very much a concept piece: he focuses on ideas surrounding nature, humanity, fear and the power of the media in this 7-minute video. An irresistibly infectious and hypnotising slice of pop, the track kicks in around the 2:40 mark. As reflections flicker in a pool of water, tinkering keys and sweeping strings soon give way to muted dub beats, a deep bassy reverb and layered, saccharine sweet vocals.
