Drawing on the stark, beautiful arctic wilderness far north of their native Toronto, minimal leftfield duo Bonjay’s debut UK single ‘Creepin’ is a delicate, isolated and emotionally bleak number. With muted, pulsating synths and crisp, ethereal female vocals Ian Swain and Alanna Stuart’s song is set to snippets of Bill Mason’s 1972 documentary ‘Cry of the Wild.’
Part of a double a-side with harsher, confident beats of ‘Stumble’, ‘Creepin’ will be released on 6 June via One Bird Records following a string of live dates.
