Post Malone gives album update during Nirvana tribute livestream
During his Nirvana tribute livestream on Friday night (24 April), Post Malone revealed that he's trying to put out his new album as soon as he can.
Post Malone's Nirvana tribute livestream, which was approved by Courtney Love and later praised by Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, saw the Hollywood's Bleeding singer perform over an hour's worth of Nirvana tracks in a dress with the help of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, bassist Brian Lee and guitarist Nick Mack.
They covered a number of Nirvana classics, such as "Come As You Are", "Lithium", "In Bloom", "About A Girl" (which turned out a lot better than Puddle Of Mudd's version), "Heart-Shaped Box", "Something In The Way", "Breed", "Territorial Pissings", and more.
In-between "Come As You Are" and "Lounge Act", Post Malone gave an update on his follow up to last year's Hollywood's Bleeding album, "We've just been kinda fucking sittin' around the house and working on this new album I got coming for y'all, I'm really fucking excited for it. Trying to put it out as soon as I fucking can, I'm really proud of the music that we're making, and I'm having a lot of fucking fun."
