It has taken over six years and the re-issuing of several original albums to finally see the release of the Pixies seminal Best of the Pixies: Wave of Mutilation on vinyl. Due for release on January 17, the compilation will be ordered more or less chronologically: spanning the band’s career from their 1988 debut full length Surfer Rosa to more recent work. Bringing together singles, album highlights and a few b-sides the vinyl will be released as a two disc set with the first European pressing available in orange, whilst the US version will be available in black.
The album is available for pre-order here.
