Pity Sex get cosmic on new track "Pin A Star"
Their second album is looming ever closer, but with new song "Pin A Star" Pity Sex are living in the moment.
With an upbeat energy and a soaring optimism, on "Pin A Star" the Ann Arbor quartet are taking everything in stride. "Don’t waste your time, ‘cause it won’t wait for you," the lyrics echo, a rallying cry to make the most of every moment.
“I am a long-term planner by nature - very goal oriented," singer Britty Drake explains of the inspiration for the track. "'Pin A Star' is basically an antithesis to the way I live my life. It's a reminder to live in the moment from time to time."
The track might have been written as something of a note to self, but if we listen hard enough, there's something we can all learn from Pity Sex.
White Hot Moon is released via Run For Cover on 29 April, and is available to pre-order now.
