Photographer sues Rick Ross for copyright infringement

Photographer Armen Djerrahian is suing Rick Ross for copyright infringement over Ross and Maybach Music Group’s alleged use of photos taken by Djerrahian on posters, ads and more without his consent.

Djerrahian claims the images, which include the above photo of Ross, being illegally utilized were part of a magazine layout and that he never gave Ross or Maybach Music Group permission to use them. Djerrahian’s suit also disputes the use of certain photos of other Maybach Music rappers, such as Meek Mill, Gunplay and Omarion.
