Phoenix announce R Kelly remix of 'Trying To Be Cool'

A few days back Phoenix gave a hint that a collaboration with R Kelly may be “coming soon”. Now they’ve revealed that the hip-hopera pioneer will take to one of their recent singles, ‘Trying To Be Cool’.

Confirming the news via a photo on Instagram, the French alt-rockers unveiled the cover artwork to an upcoming remix, which is likely to feature a guest verse from Kelly. The caption gives the due date as a simple “Coming Soon”.

The pair first hooked up at Coachella, when the two acts collaborated on-stage during Phoenix’s set.
