Petition started to get the Boiler Room to upload Grimes' notorious set
Back in 2012, hot off the back of the astounding record that was Visions, Claire Boucher hopped on the decks at Richie Hawtin’s Ibiza abode. Unbeknownst to Hawtin and The Boiler Room it wasn’t to be a standard deep house affair.
No, instead, Grimes galloped forth gallantly with her delightful pop brew, chucking out Christmas songs, vapid eurodance and some stuff by Taylor Swift. For some reason, the Boiler Room decided this wasn’t kosher, and have kept the set under lock and key. A swarm of Grimes’ devotees are now petitioning the Boiler Room to whack it online. It started at low numbers this morning, but as of 3pm (12 September), it has amassed over two thousand signatures.
Apparently people are keen to hear it. If you are, sign here.
In the meantime, watch Grimes’ new clip for “Go”, featuring Blood Diamonds.
