Performance return with 'Red Brick Heart', stream album sampler inside
Manchester trio Performance return on 4 October with their ballsy and, in parts strikingly brilliant, sophomore album Red Brick Heart. Produced by Cliff Jones (Zero 7, The Golden Virgins) alongside the bands very own Joe Cross (also responsible for production duties with Hurts and current TLOBF obsessions The Sound Of Arrows), Red Brick Heart is packed with pop hooks, soaring melodies and oft cheesy arms aloft moments. A guilty pleasure perhaps, but we all need one of those now and again, right?
Stream five tracks from the album in the audio player below.
